Dear investors, dear interested parties, dear water sports friends,

The sailing summer was almost perfect in most areas, with fair winds and lots of sunshine. And there is much positive news to report from HanseYachts as well:

Sale of Privilège completed

Our share in the French catamaran manufacturer Privilège Marine SAS was taken over by a consortium around its long-time CEO Gilles Wagner. The capacity this frees up at HanseYachts now allows us to fully focus on our core brands. In addition, the company will also benefit economically from this strategic portfolio restructuring.

With the Privilège models 510, 580 and 650, we had brought successful boats to the market. Practically all divisions had contributed a lot of commitment, essential resources and great know-how. This tied up many forces in all our functions at HanseYachts - from development to carpentry, production and purchasing to marketing.

Even though we will continue to support Privilège as a supplier for a limited period of time, we have already gained a lot of new leeway. We will use this to become even better at realising our customers' dreams and to secure the future of HanseYachts. We have an excellent basis for this with our historically strong order book, many measures to improve margins, our significant price increases and many new orders.

Production level significantly raised

Even though we are still dealing with supply chain issues, in September and early October we produced two or even three boats per working day for the first time again. This means we are back to pre-Corona levels - also thanks to the many employees on the production lines who made this possible. We are now working on stabilising this on a monthly and quarterly level.

Excellent vocational training

We take responsibility. A total of ten trainers look after 39 apprentices. We still want to fill another twelve apprenticeship positions. And we are developing our future managers through dual study programmes in business administration and in industrial engineering.

We are exporting our yachts to up to 90 countries and thus compete on a global scale. Our training is as global as our markets. Many of our apprentices come from other European countries, and we offer our dual students practical phases at our location in Poland or at one of our globally active dealers.

With high-quality training, we not only create a solid foundation for a successful start into professional life. This way, we also cover an important part of our need for skilled professionals. HanseYachts AG apprentices are regularly among the best in their respective years. And we have just been awarded the title of "Top Training Company" for the high quality of our training.

Top Training Company 2022 awards

The seal is awarded by the Neubrandenburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce to companies that have consistently provided high-quality training for at least five years. An independent jury decides on the awarding of the title. HanseYachts currently offers seven different apprenticeships. These not only include the classic boat builders and carpenters typical of any yacht manufacturer, but also industrial clerks, IT specialists, media designers, technical product designers and warehouse logistics specialists.

RYCK 280 nominated for Best of Boats Award

After our RYCK 280 had already been awarded the Prix de l'Élégance among the Les Moteurs Boats de l'Année last year, she is now among the finalists of the Best of Boats Award in the Best for Beginners category.

In contrast to other awards, the categories here are based on the usage and the different target groups, and not on the boat lengths. We will know at the end of November whether the RYCK 280 wins the prize.

The optional T-top can be fitted with solar panels if desired. In addition, the sailing yacht has the largest and most practical dinghy garage in its class. In just a few easy steps, the dinghy can be easily launched from the cockpit with the newly developed Hanse Smart Tender System.
