Suburban place-makingSuburbanisation has remained understudied for a long time. Laura May contributes to this research with her Belgian case study, which she will present on 21 February 2020. She examined place-making in the urban periphery of Antwerp during the period 1860-1940, focusing on the role of political economic elites in these processes of (sub)urbanisation.
