Do you struggle with manual data entry/processing?

With this research initiative, TPR investigates whether port and logistics stakeholders need a solution that leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) to interpret human written language and facilitate the data exchange and entry. Based on the results of this survey, we would seek the best means to develop and implement a first AI-based solution that can work in logistics stakeholders’ advantage.

Chair Dennie Lockefeer: best thesis awarded

At the end of AINS 2020, the Chair Dennie Lockefeer awarded its first Thesis Prize, to Sana Somers. Sana prepared a video in which she gives the short summary of her thesis.

Successful Antwerp Inland Navigation School held

From 25 to 29 May, TransportNET successfully held its 2020 Antwerp Inland Navigation School, full online, with 20 participants. Grants by Chair Dennie Lockefeer were held by Griet Van Der Vurst and Gwenny Noterdaeme.

WCTR Society Recommendations on COVID-19 Policy

The WCTR Society's Covid-19 Task Force have formulated a five-point recommendation for policy makers who are responsible for deciding when to end the Covid-19 lockdown period, and to those who are responsible for allocating nearly $10 trillion (worldwide) fiscal/monetary stimulus funds including central bankers.
